ATM Application Engineer (80-100%)

Your task:

  • Act as an Application Engineer for an inhouse system: MV-NT, a component of our surveillance chain 
  • Collaborate closely with and support the other systems application engineers for Multi-Radar Trackers, safety-nets and main radar display
  • Participate to the Skyguide surveillance roadmap/architecture for MV-NT
  • Provide engineering support to analyze and resolve operational incidents
  • Maintain the equipment requirements and test cases for MV-NT 
  • Test and validate the application with the different stakeholders
  • Provide the required documentation for Quality Assurance, Compliance, Testing and User Manuals
  • Provide the required training to maintenance teams in Geneva and in Zürich
  • Contribute to the Skyguide DevOps initiative by improving existing tools and scripts

Your profile:

  • Engineering degree in Information Technology, Telecom, Aeronautics or equivalent
  • Consolidated ATM background experience especially in Surveillance domain
  • Experience in the applications management in an industrial environment with high levels of quality and safety constraints
  • Proven experience in requirement engineering, applied to ATM domain would be a plus
  • Some knowledge of virtual infrastructure and basic notions about service-oriented architecture
  • Basic software development skills would be a plus
  • Attention to details, good analytical skills, synthetic capability and solutions oriented
  • Able to integrate a well-established team of senior engineers
  • Able to face challenges with positive and constructive attitude, agile mindset
  • Capacity to evolve to be autonomous and to take leadership
  • English fluent written and spoken (C1)
  • French or German an asset
