Application Owner (80-100%)

Your responsibilities:

 

Do you want to be an actor of this journey and add real value to our internal and external stakeholders?


In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination of all activities concerning one or more specific applications. The Application Owner works closely with different technical teams such as the maintenance, the network, the safety, and the security.

 

  • Act as contact person for change managers regarding the planning and implementation of minor to major changes
  • Act as a liaison and ensure integration between the supplier, internal project team, internal management, and customer project teams and management
  • Develop and execute software verification plans and system quality assurance procedures
  • Actively participate in the development of process improvements
  • Actively provide guidance and governance by ensuring the solution is consistent, scalable, maintainable and harmonized
  • Provide onsite support in preventive and corrective maintenance tasks and System and User Acceptance Testing
  • Investigate technical incidents and ensure 3rd level maintenance support in cooperation with the maintenance and engineering staff
     

Your profile:

 

  • Engineering degree Master/Bachelor or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Familiar with Service Oriented Architecture, Web services, Enterprise Service Bus, and proven experience with Linux servers 
  • Good understanding of basic network concepts, network topologies and firewall rules 
  • Sound experience in project and application management, agile development with external suppliers as well as in testing
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to follow an agile approach
  • Team spirit with strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills 
  • Mother tongue French, good knowledge of English (spoken and written), German is an asset 
  • Willingness to travel 20% to Dübendorf office and occasionally to suppliers (Europe)
