Instrument Flight Procedures (IFP) and Air Space Design Expert (80-100%)
Your responsibilities:
- Conduct development, maintenance, review and implementation of instrument flight procedures
- Assess airspaces regarding an adequate protection of the intended air traffic and associated services
- Interact with customers and stakeholders to ensure a high quality service delivery in line with latest international, national and Skyguide-internal legislation and regulations
- Autonomously handle FPD and ASD activities and manage priorities to ensure correct and timely outcomes
- Consult customers and stakeholders on FPD and ASD related matters in order to ensure optimum conceptualization
- Support the continuous development of the team to assure compliance, efficiency and effectiveness
Your profile:
- Knowledge in the field of Air Traffic Management (ATM), ideally with 5 years of experience
- Specialized aviation training or equivalent work background (ATM, ATC, pilot, engineer/informatics degree with experience in ATM or similar)
- Ideally IFP (PANS-OPS) design training and OJT and/or Airspace design training and OJT
- Efficient office utilization skills, ideally experience in (domain specific) software utilization such as CAD and FPD support software
- An understanding of Swiss and European legislation governing the aviation sector with a detailed focus on FPD regulations
- Strong quality, customer and solution orientation
- Advanced communication and inter-personal skills with demonstrated stakeholder management
- English and ideally fluent in German or high willingness to learn, French would be an asset
