Internship Corporate PMO Support (12 months)

Short Description

In support of governance bodies and the underlying projects in Air Traffic Management Operations and Technology.  The role is part of the Corporate PMO teams' responsible for Project Portfolio Management/Assurance & Methodology/tools.

The Corporate PMO is on a journey to extend from Operational to Strategic PMO, aiming to improve data analytics, insights and recommendations to improve management strategy implementation decision support.

Responsibilities

Will be varied and involve working in four key areas

  • Provide data / analytics for reports and portfolio execution/planning dashboards, as used for decision support
  • Provide data-in-tool assurance and validation. This will include team iterative prototyping, piloting new dashboards before business requirement details and templates can be passed on to industrialize in tools
  • Provide assurance to their assigned sub-portfolio of projects. This covers administrative support, including follow up with Project managers / Epic Owners
  • Support the methodology team in setting up community of practice, training events. Support in business process updates, and Project-Manager-KPI design

Your Profile:

  • Swiss nationality or has a valid work permit for Switzerland
  • Attention to detail and priority management
  • Strong analytical problem assessment and problem solving
  • At ease in working in complex matrix organization
  • Team spirit and empathy when interacting with internal staff
  • Has an outstanding appetite to learn, pass on, and extend your horizon
  • Thrive in a changing environment, surrounded by highly experienced practitioners
  • First or second degree in project management or engineering
  • Qualified in portfolio management (Agile, Benefits and Value)
  • In the process of acquiring a master's degree in one of the above areas
