Physical Security Officer Intrusion and Surveillance (80-100%)
Location: Geneva
When: 1 October 2026 or upon availability
Your mission:
This role offers a unique mix of hands-on operational security activities and administrative responsibilities, requiring someone who enjoys both being close to the field and ensuring accurate documentation, compliance and processes. With your mandatory impeccable reputation, you will be responsible for all specifications in the area of intruder alarm systems and video surveillance systems and support access control activities in Geneva and for military facilities.
Your tasks:
- Managing and maintaining access categories in the Kaba access control system and supporting badge management activities in Geneva
- Managing the mechanical locking system and key management for Geneva and remote sites in French-speaking Switzerland
- Acting as the technical owner for intrusion detection and video surveillance system specifications across all Skyguide facilities in Switzerland
- Responsible for the content, maintenance and administration of web-based security trainings and assessments for internal and external employees
- Acting as Deputy Head of the Fire & Evacuation department in Geneva
- Conducting compliance reviews, gap analyses and risk assessments across all Physical Security domains in French-speaking Switzerland
- Supporting physical security projects, events and awareness initiatives, combining operational involvement with documentation, coordination and administrative activities
What we are looking for:
- Hands-on security professional who enjoys combining practical implementation with coordination, administration and compliance activities with good MS Office knowledge
- Several years of experience in physical security (strategic/conceptual) or equivalent security qualification, with strong technical understanding
- Mandatory experience in access control (Badge System access); Intrusion alarms and CCTV experience or willing to learn
- Advanced certifications (CFPA-E Security Coordinator/Manager / Fire Protection Safety Officer) are an asset
