Software Development for the E-STCA application (80-100%)
Your task:
- Participate as a software developer to E-STCA evolutions, a component of our surveillance chain.
- Implement the Skyguide surveillance roadmap/architecture for E-STCA
- Provide engineering support to analyze and resolve operational incidents,
- as E-STCA is a safety critical application running 24x7
- Test and integrate the application within Skyguide environments
- Contribute to the Skyguide DevOps initiative by improving existing tools and scripts and ensuring E-STCA is applying these principles
- Validate the application with the different stakeholders
- Contribute to studies in the surveillance domain
Your profile:
- Engineering degree in Information Technology, Telecom, Aeronautics or equivalent
- Proven expertise in Java and in C/C++
- Proven experience in Linux OS including scripting in bash
- Knowledge of TCP/IP stack
- DevOps knowhow and experience is an asset
- Knowledge of virtual infrastructure, containers and service-oriented architecture
- Knowledge in ATM domain would be a plus
- Attention to details, good analytical skills, synthetic capability and solution oriented
- Able to apply state of the art programming skills
- Able to integrate a well-established team of senior engineers
- Able to face challenges with positive and constructive attitude, agile mindset
- English fluent written and spoken (C1)
- French or German an asset
