Operational Transition Manager Virtual Center Touchdown

Your Responsibilities :

 

In this role, you will act as an agent/lead for development, implementation, and regulatory approval of a new Swiss-wide Air Traffic Controller endorsement driven by the scope of our Virtual Centre (VC) touchdown programme. This role focus on all aspects of change: People, technology and tools, regulation and licensing, processes, training, and organizational structures and potential operational transformation.

 

  • Lead and oversee project development and implementation: business cases and project plans, governance, resources identification/allocation and management, reporting requirements, to ensure project outcomes to time, on budget, in line with quality standards, and aligned with programme baseline
  • Manage internal and external relationships : regular and effective communication, negotiation and issues management, ensure that expectations, viewpoints and interests are taken into account
  • Assure alignment with Human Factors /HP Strategy, Ops Strategies, Operational concepts, and Safety Strategies
  • Provide expert advice and information to stakeholders on project issues, present recommendations
  • Coordinate activities and resource
  • Identify and manage project risks and opportunities pro-actively
  • Monitor progress and resources and initiate corrective action if required

 

Your profile

 

  • Higher education in Management and Leadership or ATCO license 
  • Proven record in project management and project planning practices & tools (MS Project or similar) 
  • Extensive ATM knowledge
  • Very good understanding of the European regulatory framework (with focus on training & licensing requirements) 
  • Extensive stakeholder management skills and experience of working with regulator and oversight bodies 
  • Strategic thinker with innovative mind and ability to influence and inspire team, results and changes
  • English, French and/or German would be an asset
