Operations Research Value Analyst (80-100%)

Do you want to be an actor of this journey and add real value to our stakeholders?

In this role, you'll create and apply mathematical models for operational planning and decision-making. This includes analyzing business data to enhance performance, supporting strategic planning, identifying improvement opportunities, and tracking initiative benefits. You'll also assist the Transformation team and drive change within the organization.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Design a performance framework of relevant operational KPIs, fit-for-purpose for each opera-tional area.
  • Design and build statistical analyses, mathematical models, simulations, or predictive models to answer specific questions, build business cases for initiatives or help with decision making.
  • Use the data to identify areas of shortfall, research, and benchmark solutions.
  • Engage with skyguide subject matter experts and synthesize potential opportunities for im-provements.
  • Be a trusted advisor to leadership teams, assist with decision making and roadmap design.

 

Your profile:

  • Master's degree in operations research, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or re-lated field. Political science, engineering, economics, or aviation will be an asset. 
  • Proven track record delivering business results, ideally in Air Traffic Management or Aviation (especially Flight Operations, A-CDM, Flight Dispatch, Rostering).
  • At least 5 years' experience in Operations Research, Data Science or Business Intelligence.
  • Demonstrable experience with visualization techniques and associated tools (e.g. Power BI, tableau). 
  • Good working knowledge of programming / scripting language (e.g. python) with ability to quickly manipulate data. 
  • Excellent diplomatic communication abilities to effectively interact with expert organizations.
  • Proficient in English written and orally, good command in French and/or German is a plus.
