Product Owner (80-100%)

Within our IT Product Management team, we currently have two openings, one as Product Owner of our core flight data processing system and one as Product Owner of our core Radar HMI systems. Both positions are key applications and essential for the provisioning of air navigation services to our customers.
Your responsibilities:
- Participate to the breakdown of epics in features / enablers / tasks that are achievable in 1 Program Increment (PI)
- Maintain PI backlog for assigned features / enablers in close cooperation with Product Manager
- Ensure Features and User Stories readiness and prepare them for the next PI Planning events
- Be accountable for the requirements engineering and associated documentation creation, in close collaboration with the agile teams and the business analysts
- Maintain up to date the team backlog
- Decompose features and enablers into understandable user stories in the application backlog, in close collaboration with the agile team
- Prioritize the agile team's backlog to maximize the business value produced by the agile team
- Accept only done user stories meeting teams’ definition of done and based on acceptance criteria
- Participate to Scrum/SAFE ceremonies as a Product Owner
- Help the agile team to rightly prioritize "RUN" activities in the team's backlog
Your profile:
- Engineering degree ETH/FH or a strong ATM background, with relevant IT knowledge
- Experience as Product Owner with demonstrable achievements (PO certification in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a strong plus)
- Good know-how of software engineering practices in an agile context
- Practical experience with DevOps capabilities
- Practical experience with JIRA, Confluence and Polarion
- Ability to quickly understand business needs and to take initiatives and decisions with limited information
- Team spirit with strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills and capable of saying "no"
- Stress resistant and resilient
- Lean/agile mindset
- Very good communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written), French and/or German is an asset
- Willingness to travel occasionally to branch offices (Switzerland) and suppliers (Europe)
