Project Engineer Voice Communication System (80-100%)
Your responsibilities:
In order to reinforce the CNS (Communication, Navigation and Surveillance) division, we are recruiting new engineers in the voice communication domain. The Project Engineer Voice Communication System is requested to provide engineering skills and project management competences in a complex and safety relevant environment.
- Conduct projects and changes aiming to guarantee the continuity of Air-Ground/Ground-Ground communication services for the Air Traffic Control (ATC)
- Endorse the role of product manager to guaranty the products' Lifecycle
- Manage and coordinate activities related to operational equipment over Switzerland, in close collaboration with the maintenance team
- Endorse the responsibility to apply the relevant norms, standards, national and international regulations linked to safety, security, and quality of the voice communication equipment
- Support projects, working groups and studies as technical expert in voice communication systems
Your profile:
- Engineer with Master or Bachelor degree in electronics/telecommunications (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in project/change management
- Strong knowledge of OS (Linux and Microsoft), network and common voice and data communication protocols (Analog, IP, VoIP and proprietary). ATM VoIP standard EUROCAE protocols know-how would be an asset
- Fluent in French or German and sound knowledge of English (B2 - level)
- Ability to regularly travel, mainly in Switzerland
