Head of Human Factors and Transformation 80-100%

Location:  Wangen b. Düb. &/or Geneva

Act as a head of operational transformation and management of change in the context of the opera-tional transformation. The transformation is mainly driven by Virtual Centre touchdown, a ground-breaking programme of change for how Air Traffic is managed. The operational transformation will impact almost everyone working in Operations at cognitive, skill and process levels. 


Your tasks:
Responsibilities as head of business transformation team:
•Develop and manage the business transformation team consisting of Human Factors, Management of Change, Value Analyst, Process Analyst and other transformation related competencies
•Assure the right competencies for a benefit driven and human centered way of transformation, with focus on Virtual Center (VC) Touchdown and Operations transformation in general
•Take a holistic view of the Opereations transformation including sharp end roles and operational service roles
Responsibilities as head of Human Factors:
•Develop and implement a Human Factors strategy to best support Operations transformation, VC Touchdown and critical run activities. 
•Ensure proactive Human Factors services in selected key changes and initiatives by providing appropriate guidance and allocating the right people and expertise
•Drive management of change activities in the context of human factors and human performance

Your profile:
•University degree or similar in area(s) requested (Human Factors, air traffic management,…)
•Aviation background
•Education in leadership especially in change management
•Minimum 5 years of experience aviation or air traffic management domain
•Experience in leading transformation activities for other Air Navigation Service Providers
•Knowledge and experience in change management and communications, and in implementing changes to business processes, technologies and systems
•People management experience
•Strategic thinking and ability to see and manage the big picture while grasping the detail. 
•Leadership skills in complex and change environment and ability to drive initiatives and lead people in such an environment
•Strong listening & communication skills: the ability to promote a clear vision to different audiences, altering your style, language and approach
•Effective facilitation, influencing and negotiation skills
•Analytical mindset, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
•Fluent level of English (minimum C1), both written and spoken, is mandatory
•Knowledge of either French or German is required (an advantage)
