To reinforce our Capacity Management team, we are currently looking for an

 

Air Traffic Flow and Capacity Management (ATFCM) Specialist 

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Supports the development of Skyguide's Virtual Centre implementation in the area of ATFCM
  • Team's web tool developments (OPS performance statistics, dashboards and cockpits, weather forecasting…)
  • Data analysis, preparation, performance assessment/reporting process and software maintenance support 
  • Operations planning optimization / proposals for increasing planning efficiency (sector configuration opening scheme, rostering, daily work position planning)
  • Develops a traffic complexity management model based on big data and AI 
  • Supports enhancement of performance management system and integration of other information sources and/or new tools : analysis of traffic, delay, staff planning, sector configuration opening scheme, traffic forecasting                 
  • Contribution to the Single European Sky R&D work packages (Airport Operations Plan)
  • Data Analysis to assess network effects and operational performance (traffic, sector configuration opening scheme, shift assignment) 
  • Labour Law and Collective Labour Agreement analysis on the OPS planning and reporting 


 

Your profile

 

  • Degree in the field of Air Traffic Management or University degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) or Data Scientist
  • Operational background with good understanding of ATM/ATFCM or some years of experience in software development
  • Data engineering and software development skills (AI/Big data) ; strong understanding of optimization principlesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to quickly master new concepts
  • Strong communication skills and team working spirit, strong solution and customer orientation
  • Sens of initiative, flexibility, autonomy and pro-activity
  • English or French required, German would be an asset
