Area Control Rated ATCO Instructor (80-100%)

We are looking for an Air Traffic Controller with 10+ years' ACS expertise, instructor endorsements (OJTI/STDI), ELP level 4+, professionalism, and tech skills. The role includes course management, regulatory compliance, training expertise, collaboration, and global representation in aviation groups.  

Your responsibilities:

  • Oversee course planning, administration, and the continuous monitoring of student performance
  • Ensure that all course content adheres to regulatory requirements
  • Create, design, and deliver training material for both classroom and simulation environments
  • Provide support for training development, colleagues and other departments as needed
  • Act as representative of Skyguide and the Skyguide Academy at international working groups (e.g., FABEC), project groups and teams as necessary; maintain a professional demeanour and appearance for these interactions

Your profile:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience as a licensed Air Traffic Controller  in ACS (Area Control), with additional validations preferred (Note: while an ATCO licence issued in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/340 is preferred, the appropriate differences training for licence conversion will be provided for the right candidate who holds an ICAO issued ATCO licence) 
  • Must hold On-the-Job-Training (OJTI) or Simulation Instructor (STDI) license endorsement; Classroom Instructor Certificate and/or Examiner/Assessor's Certificate desired
  • English Language Proficiency (ELP) level 4 or higher
  • Demonstrate common sense, loyalty and efficient time and resource management
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
  • Adaptable team player in a multicultural setting, open to new learning technologies and proficient in MS Office and other office tools (e.g., Adobe Acrobat)
